I look forward to hearing about YOUR marketing ideas! Let’s get started!
My first advice for holiday marketing is to start early! You don’t want to have your hard work swallowed by the frenzy of mail and shopping!
Super marketing ideas perfect for the holidays is if you have a walk in business (it could be a shop or a service-related business):
Offer a stress-free after hours reception, complete with hors d’oeurves and egg nog.
Offer a personalized shopping service by email. Create a survey on surveymonkey.com and have people list the people they need to shop for and a few of their likes/dislikes. You can email them suggestions on gifts and even offer to package it up for them!
For businesses that are service related, especially if you are located near shops that are frequented by holiday traffic, offer a stress relief reception where shoppers can stop by, sit down and have a cup of hot chocolate before continuing on their shopping.
Host a food-drive for your local food pantry.
Hire a local photographer to come into your business and take pet holiday photos with Santa
i think one strategy would be to offer free photo shoots for every customer so that they can post it on their social networking sites, as they are very popular these days and evryone wants to look good on their home profile pages.
Hi,I’m sure you’ve done this, but I don’t see it listed above……go talk to the owners of the car stereo people as well. The guys who are installing the fancy stereos in their trucks are also the guys who are spending money on their “rides”. They want their truck to look good, and would pop for the cost of the bed liner.
I have a small cleaning business and want to know how to advertise my company with either web ads or with a website of my own. Any specific sites or companies you’d suggest?
