Joe’s Real BBQ asked for our help to promote their 11th Annual Client Appreciation Free Food Event! Their goal was to give away over 5,000 meals. We set a record and gave away 6,184 meals on May 6th, 2009.
We worked together to create a social media and publicity campaign that included Twitter, Facebook, bloggers, and reaching other demographics that have not been the there before.
Besides setting a record, here aree some of the results. Note: Joe’s already has great relationships with the traditional media so my focus was non traditional and social media.

Buzz!
Twitter: just served our 3,000th free meal of the day. on pace to set record. long line moving very quickly. suggest u get in line by 730pm
Facebook: Joe’s did not have a facebook page so we set one up. As of June 14th, 2009, ( a little more than a 6 weeks) they have over 1000 fans!
Joe’s Real BBQ also hired us again in June when they were nominated for “Best Brisket” on Live with Regis and Kelly!
